What would a trip to China be without a trip to the squatty potty. This is the normal toilet that the Chinese people use. It takes quite the skill to be able to use it. :) I have managed to not have to use one yet. Our hotel has a western toilet, and there are many restaurants and places that do as well. I have used one though, just prefer the western over the squatty. :)
Second picture is another view of the tea place.
as much as I complain about the small stalls here with doors that open IN making it almost impossible to fit in a normal stall w/o touching the toilet (when pregnant)... I'm very glad I don't have to squat over those. As prone as I am to tipping over... that would be AWFUL!
